This is a beautiful, brand new high end home located in the exclusive East Meadows neighborhood of Kirkwood Mountain Resort. The home is located on a large (1/2 acre), private lot within an easy 5-10 minute walk of the ski lifts (or you can take the free shuttle service if you prefer).
This home has all of the amenities you need for a wonderful mountain vacaction, including a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, high-end finishes and furnishings, and a two car garage. The home has two master bedrooms (each with a king bed) and two regular bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with a twin-over-full bunk bed). There is also a queen size sleeper sofa, a full sized futon and a daybed.
Skiers will love the abundant storage space for skis and boards, boot warmers, ski waxing table, and prime location next to one of the finest ski resorts in the USA. The cross-country skiing trail is right out the back door, so you can ski from the house. In the summer, enjoy the hiking trail that crosses through the back yard, horseback riding at Kirkwood stables, the fishing and boating at nearby Caples Lake and Silver Lake as well as the hundreds of small hike-in lakes in the area, or mountain biking the slopes of Kirkwood (lift accessed in the summer) or the world class trails of South Lake Tahoe (the trailhead for Toad's Wild Ride is less than 1/2 hour away).
After your day's activities, enjoy the large great room with 61" HDTV and rock fireplace or the fully equipped game room in the loft with Golden Tee '98, Mortal Kombat, pinball, air hockey, foosball and Playstation II with dedicated 35" TV. Downstairs is a wall mounted LCD for movies and quiet time. The two sets of washer/dryers will allow the entire group to be ready for the next day's activities. The home also comes equipped with cable TV (including HBO), highspeed wireless network, and a laser printer.
